Energy performance of your home

Every house that is  built, sold or rented within the UK is required to have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). This certificate contains important information on the energy performance of a property and what can be done to improve it.

The EPC also contains the vital data on the heating and hot water demands of a property which are required to claim payments under the renewable heat incentive (RHI).

An EPC gives a property an energy efficiency rating between A (very efficient) to G (inefficient) and is valid for 10 years.
